About Julia

Hello! I'm hoping to start babysitting again alongside my work as an RA for a lab. In high school, I started working with kids at an afterschool program called "GI". The program aimed to help working parents with childcare through helping with homework and creating activities. All of the girls displayed such a brightness that I couldn't help but feel inspired after leaving. Since then, I worked as a babysitter in high school and I'm currently working in a psych-lab that studies infant-mother attachment. I've found the best way to approach kids is with kindness, calmness and compassion! Kids are curious and creative and I would work hard to uplift these characteristics. I would defer to the parents' caregiving methods and aim to have open communication. I have driver's license and am happy to drive, cook, bake and help tidy the house. And I studied Philosophy and Film and love to watch old movies, read and enjoy making art. Let me know if I sound like a good fit for you!
