Hello! I just recently moved to Des Moines and I look forward to working with you family! When I was in school I excelled in English and at the age of 16, I began tutoring my fellow classmates. Since then I have enjoyed freelance tutoring children ages 4-10 in English/language arts and have done art lessons with children ages 4-18, as well as college counseling for perspective art students. Reading, writing, and creating art are my passions and I love inspiring an interest in those subjects with my students. My visual art specialties are digital photography, oil and acrylic painting, and drawing. I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, which has been consistently ranked one of the top 10 art schools in the U. S. SAIC has a robust academic program and I took as many literature, psychology, and philosophy classes as I could. Please do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions!
