About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia and I'm a part-time student at Syracuse University. I'm frequently described as adaptable, patient, and friendly. I have extensive experience working with kids ages 4-16. I started babysitting in middle school by watching my 4-year-old neighbor and continued to babysit all throughout high school. Most of my childcare experience comes from working at the overnight camp I grew up at during the summer. There, I work with ages 7-16 teaching classes, lifeguarding, programming activities, supervising meal times and bedtime, and fostering relationships. For my last two summers, I served as behavioral specialist and division manager at Camp Takodah, meaning I have experience working with kids with behavior and mental health challenges of all kinds. I am mental health first aid and CPR/first aid certified.
