Becoming an elementary education major, we have been required to tutor and be involved in the schools on a regular basis. Throughout my experiences not only in the College of Education, I have worked with the children of the families that I was a nanny for on a multitude of assignments. One of the children had severe ADHD that allowed me to better understand how to accommodate for the student to accomplish the task in a way that allowed her to be successful. I have worked with a variety of students on math and literacy skills and have developed professional knowledge regarding how to differentiate learning to fit the needs of the learner. I am eager to continue learning and gain experience, as well.
