About Julia

Hello! I am a mom to 2 youngsters - a boy who just turned 4 and a girl who is 21 months old. (My children do not accompany me to care jobs, unless that is ever desired by my clients). My experience caring for children has been via being a mother, an Aunt, on top of paid child care. I hold a bachelors degree in engineering, am CPR certified both adult and pediatric, and have completed a children's preventative health and nutrition course. I'm a non smoker, and am comfortable with caring for multiple children at once, housekeeping and meal prep, as well as any pets. My approach with young children is to prioritize a calm presence, treat them with respect and lovingly enforce any boundaries that their parent lays forth. I enjoy getting kids outside to play, reading, and just hearing what they have to say. Im an open book so please feel free to ask any questions you may have. As a mother I understand what a big decision it is to entrust your precious child(ren) in someone else's care.
