About Julia

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, organized, patient, and compassionate. I have been babysitting for 8 years consistently. Throughout high school, I worked as a tutor for elementary school kids and later got a job working at an after school program for K-8 students. For the past 2 years, I've been working as a part-time caregiver for a 7-year-old with cerebral palsy. I will be in my fourth year of nursing school and plan on becoming a neonatal or pediatric nurse. In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, and bake. My skills include medically complex childcare (feeding tubes, central lines, respiratory therapy, mobility help, non-verbal child, allergies), meal preparation, and facilitating developmentally appropriate activities.
