About Julia

I'm currently a student at Santa Barbara City College staying here over the summer. I'm a psychology major hoping to become a social worker after university. I'm originally from Manhattan, NY, and throughout the years I've always found myself in babysitting and childcare roles, which is where I truly thrive. With years of experience in childcare, plus five years as a sleepaway camp counselor, I've developed strong skills in creating safe, structured, and fun environments for kids. Growing up as the oldest of three siblings also gave me a strong foundation in caregiving. I'm comfortable working with different age groups, adapting to new situations, and creating a positive, supportive environment. I really enjoy finding a balance between fun and structure that helps kids grow while still having a great time. I'm friendly, approachable, and value clear communication with parents about their child's day and any concerns that come up.
