About Julia

Hi, my name is Julia and I have worked as a caregiver for 3 years! I have mainly provided care to seniors, but have also worked with middle aged adults. I am a college student studying to become a nurse, and working as a caregiver is helping to prepare me for this field. I really love getting to provide care for seniors because I love the conversations we get to have and the friendships that develop! I have completed my Home Care Aid training through Cornerstone, and am in the process of getting my official certification by the state. I have worked with many patients, all needing different levels of assistance. I have experience with dressing people, bathing people, assisting patients in the bathroom, making meals, assisting with medication, and helping with transportation. I've worked with patients suffering with dementia, Alzheimer's, brain injuries, and Parkinson's. I have previously worked for a caregiving company, and lots of my experience and training was gained during my time.
