About Julia

Hi! I'm a CPR/First Aid-certified babysitter with several years of hands-on childcare experience caring for kids of all ages, from infants to preteens. I've babysat for families with up to four children at a time and am comfortable with everything from a few hours of care to overnight stays. I have also worked in daycare and camp settings, supervising children ages 0-13, helping with routines, encouraging positive behavior, and creating safe, fun environments where kids can learn and play. I've been around kids my whole life, helping at my grandma's Montessori preschool, caring for siblings, and looking after younger cousins. I love getting outside, making up creative games, storytelling, art, rollerskating, and hiking. I believe imagination and giving kids space to explore ideas helps build confidence and independence. Parents describe me as patient, dependable, and engaging. I'm currently in Portland and excited to connect with new families. I also know basic Spanish.
