About Julia

Hi families! I've been working with children since November 2022. My first year, I worked as a babysitter with 4 children, ages 2/2/4/10. I've also lead girls ages 11-12 in summer/winter camps. As of August 2024, I've been a Teacher's Assistant in head start ages 3-4 years old. I am very fun and outgoing. I enjoy being outside as well as being inside doing arts and crafts, playing games, and preparing yummy food! My favorite part about child care is teaching strong social & emotional skills. I always approach situations in a calm and nurturing manner while communicating with your child so they understand and feel valued. I believe in strong communication with families that is open and trusting. As far as credentials go, I have my Child Development Associate Certification (CDA), Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED, Food Handler, and Administrating Medication in Child Care Settings.
