I am a full time student at Ohio Northern University where I currently am apart of the Polar Paws program as a Secondary Trainer. This program allows college students to care for and train future service dogs. As a secondary trainer, I would work with various dogs on campus by training and sitting them while their primary caretaker is busy. Prior to university, I volunteered at the Van Wert County Humane Society where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and all breeds. This consisted of walking the dogs, cleaning cages, cleaning litter boxes, playing with the animals, etc.
