About Julia

Hi! I'm Julia, a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with 3 years of experience supporting older adults in maintaining their communication, cognition, and swallowing abilities. Through my work in rehabilitation and healthcare settings, I've had the privilege of helping individuals with stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions maximize their independence and quality of life. I'm patient, dependable, and understand the importance of treating every person with dignity, compassion, and respect. This summer, while I'm off from my school-based position, I'm looking to provide companion care and support to older adults and their families. I'm happy to assist with companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, transportation, light housekeeping, and providing a caring, dependable presence.
