About Julia

I am a positive, reliable, single mother to my daughter of one year. From nannying children with Down Syndrome to teaching science and robotics for 8 years to feisty middle schoolers, I love working with children of all ages and learning styles! I am looking for a summer job, and will be teaching again in the fall. I am open to facilitating and/or directing remote learning and tutoring/remedial work during the summer. I also have 6+ years of experience in teaching swim and piano lessons. I am currently CPR certified and am licensed middle school science teacher. I have a variety of interests and am willing to introduce your child(ren) to a wide variety of topics; from the intricacies of STEM to the beauty of classical arts through field trips and hands-on experiences. My daughter is with me 24/7 and I prefer watching children in my home, BUT I am open to traveling to your home, if you are comfortable with my daughter coming with me.
