About Julia

Animals are my passion! When I was 13 I helped my mom raise two Akitas - Lucy and Joey. Lucy had terrible seizures, so it was my job to administer her anti seizure medication. We also had 2 free roaming cats, Violet and Sunday and an African grey parrot, Tilly. The cats would come and go as they please but I still had to make sure they were fed and safe. Growing up, I knew that I loved animals and that I wanted to work with animals. I have volunteered at the pet shelter in Bastrop and I have been going to school for animal behavior and biology. I love animals and being outside, no animal should ever be locked up in a cage or kept inside, that's where I come in! At home I have a yellow albino Python snake named haydees, and few free roaming neighborhood cats that I feed! My typical day is spent reading mostly, studying or being outside if I'm not working. Hopefully I can find some friendly people with awesome pets! I have lots of experience with animals and lots of compassion!
