Hello I'm Julia and I'm energetic, patient, kind, and caring especially with children. I was previously employed at a preschool as a teacher for a toddler class where I excelled in my duties like teaching the kids lessons, doing arts and crafts, feeding them lunch, changing their diapers, and putting them to sleep during nap time. I currently have college credits in child development classes that have taught me a lot of important things that you should know when caring for a child. I also love to cook and would not mind making the kids food whenever they are hungry. I have previous experience babysitting children aged 8 months-5 years old and enjoyed the one on one experience. I am also CPR and first aid certified so I would be helpful in aiding with any emergencies. I have my own car so I would be a reliable source of transportation. Julia was a fantastic nanny to my then 2 year old twins. Her experience with childcare is evident in the way she interacted with my girls. She led them in structured play times indoors and outside: imaginative play (like making block houses for dolls and animals), encouraging independent play, and using arts and crafts to cultivate a fun learning environment (like tracing or using stickers for letters and numbers to assist in recall). She prepared healthy meals and snacks and assisted with other tasks related the the girls, when we asked. Julia handled twin temper tantrums with grace and patience, gently redirecting one or the other child and diffusing the situation.
