I completed my doctorate in the top program in my field (bioengineering) and have graduate-level expertise in the areas of Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, and Computer Coding. In graduate school, I worked as a professional editor of journal articles, so I am intimately familiar with all things grammar. My English-major friends assert that I'm "well-read." I have always loved teaching and learning and believe both are fundamental to the art of living life well. As the 2nd oldest of 6, I have few memories of not caring for groups of children of all ages: at home, at day camps, as an aquatics instructor, and babysitting for 25+ years.
