My name is JuIia, and I love working with kids to help them grow and have fun! I have worked in a variety of childcare jobs in the past. Most recently, I have worked as a nanny for children ages 2-9. I also spent several years providing childcare for a mom's bible study, where I cared for children ages infant-6 years. I have also worked at the Eastside Lutheran childcare in Madison. At the childcare, I helped prepare snacks, crafts, story time, and supervised indoor/outdoor playtime. I am a recent graduate of Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN where I studied Communication, Spanish, and Communication Disorders. I currently live in DeForest, WI. I am comfortable caring for children of all ages, helping with homework, preparing food, and doing other household chores. We have known Julia for almost four years in her role as a full-time nanny for a close friend. She provided care for our toddler (nanny share) from Oct-Jan 2022 and on and off since then up to this date. She has sometimes also provided care for our three and 5yo. Julia is dependable, gentle, and kind and treats every kid respectfully. As a working mom, I appreciate when a caregiver can take direction but shows motivation and takes the initiative to go above and beyond so that I do not have to micromanage every detail. For example, Julia always comes up with excellent developmentally appropriate and seasonal activities for the kids (sensory water play, hand print reindeer, and mistle-toe prints). Julia also has a fantastic ability to manage multiple kids, stay calm, and keep them engaged and happy. I recommend Julia without hesitation!
