About Julia

Hello, I'm Julia! I am a licensed elementary school teacher with additional experience in early childhood/infant care. I've been teaching elementary art (gen. ed and ESE) for the past 2 years and am also certified to teach gen. ed K-6th grade. Before teaching, I worked at a licensed childcare facility for 3 years. I was a full-time nanny to newborn until she was 3 years old. I am also an English & writing tutor for the SAT, ACT, & TOEFL. I have completed the part I and II Department of Child & Family Services requirements as well as the 40 hour DCF school-age requirements. I completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid course last year. My first aid & CPR cards are currently expired, but I have been certified 4 times in the past. I've got an up to date Level II background screening and fingerprinting on file with the FL Department of Education as a requirement of my teaching license. I have a reliable car & am a very safe driver. I am fine with dogs, cats, and other animals.
