About Julia

Hi there, my name is Julia and I'm an energetic and creative 23-year-old! I started out in college , but fell into childcare 4 years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a part time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $ 17/ hour for one child. I'm a teacher assistant at after school program in Manhattan, I primary teach children in Pre k to kindergarten . My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook fancy dishes, experiment different recipes , and going out to bike with my friends
