About Julia

I've been working with children since my early teens, including live in nanny positions at 16 and again at 20 for both American and French families. During college I also nannied for several university faculty families. I have experience with infants through elementary age children and bring a calm, attentive presence to the home. I took piano lessons from age 6 through 18 and taught beginner piano to children ages 5 to 13 during my later teens, which gave me early experience working with kids in a teaching setting. I graduated from UCLA in 2018 and am currently on a sabbatical from my primary career, so I'm looking to take on occasional babysitting roles. When I'm with kids, I stay pretty engaged, talking, playing, reading, being outside, whatever makes sense for the day. I tend to pay close attention to what they need in the moment and bring a steady, easygoing energy. I'm dependable and easy to communicate with, and I take the responsibility seriously.
