About Julia

I'm a caring, energetic, and dependable childcare provider with over 10 years of experience working with children of different ages, from infants to school-aged kids. I have a degree in Linguistics from the University of Illinois and I'm a certified ESL and Spanish teacher. As a bilingual caregiver fluent in English and Spanish, I enjoy helping children learn through conversation, play, music, reading, and creative activities that support their development in a fun and natural way. I love creating engaging, screen-free environments where children can explore their interests, build confidence, and feel safe and supported. I'm passionate about education, language learning, fitness, music, and the arts, and I enjoy bringing those interests into my caregiving style through age-appropriate activities and routines. In addition to childcare, I'm comfortable helping with meal preparation, light housekeeping, organizing, errands, and pet care.
