About Julia

Hi, my name is Julia, and I am currently attending New York University. With two years of babysitting experience, I have cared for children of various ages, ensuring their safety, preparing meals, assisting with homework, and organizing engaging activities. My time tutoring underprivileged children at La Casita has enhanced my ability to communicate effectively with children and provide tailored educational support. In high school, my involvement as the captain of the girls' soccer team and as the Student Government MasterAtArms has helped me develop leadership and organizational skills. Additionally, as the Secretary of the English Honors Society, I led book drives and educational presentations, furthering my ability to lead and educate. I am fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, allowing me to connect with a diverse range of children and families. I manage tasks effectively and maintain a cheerful and positive attitude, creating a joyful environment for children.
