About Julia

I'd describe my personality as intrepid, placid, and gregarious. I like working with kids because it allows me to be in touch with my inner child and kids are just fun. I am currently in college for my bachelors degree. I thoroughly enjoy organizing and I started working with kids when I was about 15. I have nannied family friends and other clients that I have met online from ages 2-12. I also taught swim lessons for children ages 2-12 and was a lifeguard for Mecklenburg county in 2019. In my spare time, I like to skateboard, do yoga, paint, thrift, and cook. One thing you should know about me is I have just decided that I don't want to be an engineer and this is what I was attacking for the last 4 years. My skills include helping with studies. I have volunteered as a national honor society member in classrooms helping with vocabulary and reading. I feel like being an only child gives me a one up on creativity with children because I can always find something to do.
