Hi, I'm Julia. I'm a former high school teacher (2 years) with an additional 3 years of early childhood montessori experience (infant - elementary). I believe in treating children with dignity and respect, which to me means holding them to a high standard of kindness and encouraging them to think and act independently. I model healthy interpersonal boundaries, creative thinking, and an intentional relationship with technology/ screens. *Currently, my ideal situation would be a nanny share (more affordable for families) for 2 infant-toddler aged children at my apartment in logan square. Alternatively interested in part time morning care. In my spare time, I like to make ceramic art at my local pottery studio. I'm also working on my international doula certification :)

Julia was a godsend for me and my husband and provided thoughtful, responsible care for my 7 year old who struggles with anxiety. She was able to get him to open up and was incredibly communicative and punctual. I’d highly recommend Julia to anyone looking for an attentive and considerate caregiver.
