About Julia

Hi! My name is Julia, and I am 22 years old. This December, I will graduate from the URI with a B. S. in Communication Disorders, and I plan to pursue my Master's in Speech-Language Pathology afterward. I have several years of babysitting experience, along with experience as an overnight camp counselor. Through both my education and experience, I have strong knowledge of child development, language development, autism spectrum disorder, and speech/language delays. I'm happy to help with homework, reading, language-building activities, and creating fun, engaging experiences for children. Some fun facts about me: I'm a classically trained singer, taught myself guitar and piano, played soccer for 13 years, and love cooking, reading, and movies. I can also help with swimming supervision and meal prep. I'm dependable, caring, patient, and passionate about helping kids learn and grow!
