Hi, I am Julia and I am so excited to be a part of the greater Kitsap community. For the last 4 years, I have worked as a middle school culinary arts teacher where I was lucky enough to teach about my passion-food! Prior to teaching, I directed the food program for a Seattle-based early learning center and worked as a restaurant cook in various restaurants in Washington and California. Aside from my professional career, I have always found great joy in looking after my nieces and nephews as well as children of other family members and friends. My approach towards childcare is is rooted in play, curiosity, respect and compassion. I look forward to meeting you!
