Hi, I have over 2 years experience with private caregiver. I am in the process of getting my CNA certification. I am CPR and First Aid certified. In my previous positions as a senior caregiver, I assisted with daily living such as helping with bathing, getting dressed, feeding, light cooking, light housekeeping, and companionship. I love getting to know what my patients like to do so that they remain active in it. I also accompanied my patients to their doctor's appointments and physical therapy appointments. I also took them out for walks (weather permitting). Did daily exercises at home. I ran errands such as grocery shopping and getting the mail. Did lots of their favorite things together such as reading, watching favorite tv programs, puzzles, cards, gardening, listening to music, going for walks, etc. I would love to do that for somebody else and just put a smile on their face.
