About Judy

I'd describe my personality as friendly, patient and conscientious. I like working with kids because I love to watch them learn, grow and laugh. I strive to create a nurturing environment for them to succeed and feel appreciated. I'm looking for a job that uses my positive energy and skills. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I babysat a lot with children of all ages. I took care of my grandchildren when they were infants and toddlers. I am a retired psychiatric nurse and worked on the children's unit. I began working in school districts with children with special needs as a classroom aide about five years ago. In my spare time, I like to read, take my dog on walks to the beach, go out with my friends, play all kinds of games, spend time watching my grandsons sports events and my granddaughter's sailing races. I am dependable, work well with parents and teachers, and am able to establish rapport with children and use positive reinforcement to promote learning.
