I have worked for 10 years in a childcare setting. During that time I was the lead teacher in the 1-3-year-old classroom. 2013 to 2016 I was a nanny for a 2 month and 3-year-old. Some of my responsibilities included preparing meals and snacks, providing age-appropriate learning experiences. We enjoyed going to the museums, the zoo, playgrounds and visiting their grandparents. The youngest child has CF, so I was responsible for administering her airway clearance treatments and her medicine. My services were no longer needed as their mother was going to stay at home. 2017 to 2024 I started with a 6-month-old and 3-year-old. 3 years later they had another child. I did school drop-off and pick up and transported them to extracurricular activities. I worked with them on preschool learning and school homework. I prepared their snacks and meals. They no longer required my services because all children are now in school.

Judy nannied for my two children from 2013 to December 2015. She was a joy to work with, and we were sad to have to let her go on 1/1 when I decided to become a stay-at-home mom. Judy is a kind, compassionate person who treated my kids with respect and quickly earned theirs. She has a quiet way about her, and I can honestly say that I've never heard her raise her voice. In addition to the regular preschool driving, meal prep, and such, Judy brought all of her preschool music, arts, and crafts and set up a mock classroom for the kids. This helped provide some structure to their days, alongside regular walks to the duckpins, trips to the library and museums, etc. As my youngest daughter also has a chronic respiratory issue, Judy gave her daily breathing treatments, special pills before each meal, etc. I always knew that I could count on Judy to do all of the above each day with a smile and a joyful presence that the kids really responded well to and that quickly made her part of our family. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for the gold standard in a nanny! She is a true gem.
