About Judy

I have known Judy from birth - she is my daughter. She is a beautiful person with a caring heart. She has been a single mom, raising her son and my only grandchild for the majority of his life of nearly 23 years. She has taken into her home a family that was left homeless by hurricane Katrina and gave them food and shelter until they were able to move on with their life. But more importantly, she played a very important part as caregiver in my life when I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992. She was there every step of the way as I went through my surgeries and my followup radiation treatments. After that, only three years later, I had a heart attack which resulted in open heart surgery and a quadruple coronary bi-pass. During that recovery, I had a pulmonary embolism which resulted in a month hospital stay. That required a lengthy recuperation time. Again, Judy was there every step of the way along with holding down her own job and raising her then young son. She is an amazing woman, very competent, self-motivated, and above all, a person with a sincere love and caring for people. I think she would be a tremendous addition to your caregiver organization.
