About Pia
During my freshman year of college, I was an Education major and tutored two elementary school students at the local Boys and Girls Club weekly. My coursework revolved around not only teaching K-6 core subjects, but also learning about the social/emotional needs of children. Besides my college experience, I was an Assistant Teacher for an after-school program during my gap-year with 30+ in grades K-5. I assisted students with their homework reading, writing, and math skills.
