Judy is a wonderful nanny and caretaker, and I highly recommend her to care for your child/children. She has worked with us for the last 2.5 years and she has loved and cared for my daughter; better than some of my own family members. She is patient, nurturing and safe with my child. Our work dynamic included occasional work-from-home parents (both home) to 1 parent at home to none at home during the workday. She was able to occupy my daughter's time with age-appropriate tasks, set goals and a plan to accomplish them. Her expertise and skills in caring for children is deep while keeping an open mind to how parents want to raise their child. She was able to execute the daily plan we had for my daughter and kept her on schedule for meals, naps and play. When my child was sick, she was able to comfort her, monitor fevers and provide medicine. My daughter went from diapers to being potty trained, sleeping in a crib to a toddler crib and then a bed and was able to drop the pacifier while Judy supported the ways in which we wanted to make these changes. Communication was key in all changes and whatever we were able to communicate to Judy -- she was able to adjust and incorporate. She did a good job in communicating items she needed for the child or the household and went above and beyond to care for not only my child but our family unit too. It is important to note that since my husband and myself were either present or not present--with a lot of unpredictability, we sometimes weren’t coordinated and in those cases, Judy was able to ask questions, solve problems or wait for direction which is a lot to ask for and be mindful of. We enjoyed working together and finding solutions to satisfy everyone was very important when it came to scheduling and changes for the child. I wish we had another kid so Judy could stay with us! Her commitment to my daughter’s hygiene, safety, hydration, mental stimulation and diet was incredible. I'd be happy to connect for any additional reference information.
