Hi! I am a 65-year-old female retired pharmacist looking for caregiving opportunities. I am active, fun loving, reliable and responsible. I cared for my elderly dad who had cancer and my elderly mom who had dementia. My sister had cerebral palsy and was in a wheelchair, and I assisted her with all of her needs throughout her life, until the end when she was on hospice. I also help take care of my husband who has had a stroke. I have had 4 various caregiver positions . Helping seniors brings me joy and fulfillment. I am a very patient person and I love listening to stories from seniors. I can help with cooking, activity, crafts, cleaning, transportation, companionship or whatever else is needed! I am familiar with some medical equipment, such as wheelchairs and oxygen concentrators. I am comfortable in a home with animals, as I have two golden retrievers of my own. We were looking for someone to help take of an older parent for companionship and some help around the house and we could not of found a better person in the world than Judy. We hired Judy in January 2022 to help take care of my mom who had just lost her eyesight in her left eye and was no longer able to drive. She fell into a depression after the holidays and we were struggling during the day to keep an eye on her and mornings are always the worst part of the day when it comes to depression. Judy was tremendous with my mom and helped us get thru the next 3 months. My mom started to come out of it at the end of March and we couldn't be more grateful to Judy as she was instrumental in getting my mom back on her feet. Will look to her again if we ever need help with my mom again. Thanks Judy
