About Joy

I'd describe my personality as positive, gracious and helpful. I like working with kids because I enjoy learning their personalities, encouraging them to learn and grow, and providing a safe and stimulating environment that brings them joy and security. I started working with kids when I was attending college and have contributed to do so for my entire adult life in various capacities, including operating my in-home daycare and raising 2 sons. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family and friends and being out in nature. My skills include an understanding of child development, a patient and understanding approach to children and keen sense for children's needs.
