About Joy

I am passionate about caring for children, specifically children with special needs. This was my driving passion behind attaining my BSW and MSW. I was a nanny for four years for three children during my undergraduate and graduate programs. I assisted their mother in light household chores such as laundry, dishes, and reorganizing rooms, closets, and drawers. I helped the boys with daily homework and drove them to piano lessons and sports practices. I was also an afterschool counselor for two years and volunteered as a tutor at nonprofits for grades K through 6th. I am CPR certified for children and adults. My schedule is flexible, and I am here to help support your family in whatever way is best for you.
