About Joy

Hello! My name is Joy and I have a passion for providing quality care for children. I previously worked as a full time nanny for 15 years and have a background in child development and teaching young children. I believe excellent care, strong and open communication with parents and an extensive knowledge of child development are some of the key factors in a successful partnership. I still have relationships with the families I have worked for over the years and can provide recommendation letters or references upon request. I love the outdoors, arts and crafts, reading and animals. I can plan age appropriate activities based on the children's interests or follow parent planned activities. I'm happy to do light cleaning and organizing. I am currently working a full-time remote job and I'm looking for occasional babysitting on evenings and weekends, open to several shifts monthly or a regular schedule.
