About Joy

My name is Joy. I am proud to say that I have 25yrs experience of raising children, and advocating for youth with special needs. I currently work as an on-call PCA with headstart students diagnosed with developmental delay, autism, and individuals with emotional, and behavioral diagnoses as well. I have all up to date clearances (FBI, First Aid/CPR, Child abuse, criminal) I believe it's an honor to play a key role in ensuring the safety and well being of a child during their early development years. Positive reinforcement, and youth empowerment are my primary focuses when it comes to nurturing and guiding the little ones. I served as an volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (sworn in) for foster care youth in Philadelphia. I'm originally from the midwest, but grew up in Philadelphia, PA. I also spend time working to earn funds to put my son through college. He's a Art School student. :) Nice to meet you, and I hope to meet your family one day. Thanks! Joy
