About Joyce

I'd describe myself as empathetic, energetic, patient, and dependable. I love working with children because having the opportunity to positively impact a child's life is incredibly rewarding to me. Their excitement, curiosity, and joy genuinely bring me joy too. I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and am taking a gap year before potentially pursuing a master's in Prosthetics and Orthotics in Fall 2027. I'm hoping to find a consistent childcare position where I can become a trusted part of a family's routine. I've been babysitting and coaching field hockey since I was about 15, with even earlier experience caring for my younger siblings and cousins. I enjoy balancing fun with routines, boundaries, and safety. In my free time, I love field hockey, running, lifting, camping, arts and crafts, and baking. I'd love to share those interests while creating a warm, positive environment where kids feel safe, supported, and themselves.
