About Joy

I am currently in law school, and I am looking for a part-time child care position! I have a wide variety of experience working with children as a nanny and as an instructor. To start, I am the eldest girl of eight kids! I have been in a care giving position since I was very young. I had my first official nanny position in high school. I took care of three kids ages 5, 3, and 1. In college, I was a nanny for one child. I began caring for her when she was an infant and left the family for another position when she was 3. I moved to Strasbourg, France to fill a position as a live-in nanny for two girls ages 6 and 8. After moving back to the U. S. and graduating from college, I spent a year as a literacy instructor in a public middle school. I worked directly with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. All of my experiences as a nanny and part-time caregiver have been very positive. I would like to work with a family that is looking for someone to provide supplemental support and care.
