About Journie

Hi! I'm Journie! a little about me I'm a college student studying Early Childhood Education with a passion for working with children. I've worked with kids for almost three years through my local park district, working with children from kindergarten through 6th grade. I help supervise children, plan activities, play sports, and create a safe, fun, and welcoming environment where kids can be themselves. I'm energetic, patient, responsible, and dependable, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each child and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of childcare, I'm an athlete who enjoys basketball and wrestling, as well as being outdoors, reading, and singing. I'm also happy to help with light cleaning, cooking, I'm very pet-friendly and love animals, so I'm more than happy to help care for pets as well!
