I've had a love for children since I was a child myself. As a teenager, I babysat for friends and family frequently. I also worked as a Direct Support Professional from 2016 to 2019 to teach functional skills to individuals with disabilities. In 2021, I earned a BS in Behavioral Healthcare with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. I have 4 years of experience in the field of ABA, which includes both creating and implementing behavior plans to teach children and teenagers life skills, social skills, functional communication, and to decrease their harmful behaviors. Because of my profession, I am trained in both Medication Administration and Basic Life Support/CPR (certificates can be provided upon request). I love pets! While I do consider myself a dog person, I have nothing against cats. I am perfectly okay with being around and assisting in the care of both dogs and cats. :)
