About Jossalyn

Hey there! I am a passionate childcare provider looking for more impactful setting, and to be a part of someone's village! I believe that the start to a solid life is a team of support, and I love being that extra set of hands for a family to depend on. I'm looking for a job that allows me to be creative, while also keeping the attention of the kids in my care! I started working with kids when I was six, as I helped raise my sisters, and then professionally I started caring for children at age 17. In my spare time, I like to thrift, journal, read, and be in nature with my friends and family! One thing you should know about me is I can be quiet at first, but once I am comfortable I am an open book. My skills include de-escalation with unwanted behaviors, finding creative ways to play without electronics, and communicating with families.
