One thing you should know about me is when I have a passion for something, that passion sticks; and caring for kids/building relationships with them is one of them. My respect goes both ways, as it should. My skills include strong communication, patience, and decision making. I will always explain why we do or don't do certain things if upset. I think it's important to acknowledge a child's feelings because they can't always communicate them.

Joslyn was our nanny for 3 years until recently when our youngest child went to Kindy. My kids are now 12 and 6 and sadly we can’t keep her full time. Someone would be very lucky to have Joslyn for childcare. Joslyn is very kind hearted and genuinely cared about my girls’ feelings, while also confidently enforcing our rules. She has experience supporting kiddos with difficult behaviors and ADHD. She supported our day wherever we needed her, including helping with homework She helped us in so many ways over the years, including sick care, taking kids to camps and sports, taking them to appointments, facilitating play dates and more. She’s even done errands and grocery shopping to help me out! She also loves animals and was able to help look after our elderly dog and our cats many times. She’s a good and safe driver with a reliable car and managed Pre-K pick up for us. She prepared snacks and lunch as needed. She made time to make sure my girls felt special, like taking my youngest to the movies when big sister had an activity she couldn’t join. My kids and I love Joslyn and already miss her so much!
