About Josie

Hello! My name is Josie, an incoming freshman at Indiana University majoring in psychology. While I haven't had formal paid babysitting, I've gained caregiving experience through family roles. I've cared for my mother with multiple sclerosis, handling daily tasks and providing support. Additionally, I've looked after my two younger stepbrothers, one with cerebral palsy, honing my patience and adaptability in diverse caregiving situations. Outside of caregiving, I'm active in volunteering. I assist at a local nursing home with brain exercises for dementia patients and participate in IUDM, raising funds for our children's hospital. My psychology studies enrich my understanding of child development, allowing me to combine academic insights with hands-on caregiving. I'm eager to offer a safe, nurturing environment for your child, blending creativity, independence, and compassion in my care.
