About Josie

Hi! My name is Josie. I have over 10 years of work experience in caring for animals, although I've had pets-at least two at any given time-for my entire life. I have a deep love for all creatures, which I credit to my veterinarian father. While my family has always had dogs and cats, I have also had pets of my own since I was a kid: turtles, insects, fish, hamsters, rats, gerbils, and birds. I now have three cats, a hamster, and a dog of my own. Cats, dogs, and rodents are what I am most familiar with, but I also have experience with reptiles/amphibians, horses, chickens, and other livestock. I also have lots of experience with aggressive-reactive dogs through my dog, Lucy. In addition to sitting, I have boarding space available in a heated dog kennel. There is one indoor kennel space with doggy-door access to an individual covered outdoor run and large play area. I absolutely love animals and would love to care for your furry/scaly/feathery friends.
