Hey there! I'm Josie, a 24-year-old Wilmington local with a passion for childcare. I've worked with children professionally for about four years now. I was a personal nanny for 4-year-old twins in 2020, and have worked at a drop-in daycare from mid 2022-present. Both of which I am happy to provide references for! I'm comfortable with 1-12-year-olds, although my favorite age range is 3 and above. I find it very rewarding to be apart of their learning, creativity, and budding passions! I have a passion for art myself, and love assisting in craft time as well as any hands on play, games, etc. I'm comfortable with any and all pets, and wouldn't mind assisting with household tasks, meal prep, and errands. Josie is punctual, reliable and extremely patient. All children gravitate to her calm demeanor, and respond well to her. She follows directions and truly enjoys spending time with kids of all ages. She is a good role model, as she has wonderful manners and a solid work ethic. She often goes above and beyond. In this day and age, I’m am often saddened to witness the amount of Nannies or Caretakers who pay more attention to their phones than their clients, and I am pleased to share that Josie is not that person. The anxiety we feel as parents when trying to find a nanny can be overwhelming, but once we got to know Josie that quickly dissipated. I highly recommend her!!!
