I like working with kids because there is always unpredictability! You never know how the child will respond, act or be, and being there to see all the personality growth is a blessing! Watching them master a new skill or milestone, no matter how "small" it may seem! I tend to enjoy the chaos most times. I started working with kids in high school. That's when I truly fell in love with the job. I have always been around kids, but babysitting grew that love. I love being able to help their little brains learn and grow. Some littles I watched then, are now heading off to college and I'm so proud! In my spare time, I like to read books, enjoy nature and I love spending time with my own family! I have 3 siblings that all have children, I love my niece and nephews so much.

Josie has been our babysitter for 5 years. She has watched my two children (current 5 and 2) from the time they were born. It is a joy to have her as part of our family. Josie is always on time, happy and ready to engage the children with activities. My youngest had a hard time with mommy leaving but it didn't phase Josie. She helped to calm him down after she arrived and now he loves seeing her walk up to the house knowing he is safe with her. Both of my kids love Josie and look forward to spending time with her. Even though she was there to play and put the kids at ease she always follows our directions about bedtimes, meals and discipline. The children respect her as an adult. Josie has a natural affinity for children and any family that hires her is very fortunate.
