About Joshua

My name is Josh I am about to complete my third year of teaching. I attended High Point University where I graduated with a degree in special education (general curriculum setting.) After completion of my undergraduate studies I completed a masters degree program in educational leadership studies. While completing my masters degree I started my teaching career as a middle school special education teacher. During this year I was an inclusion specialist for all middle school aged math and ELA courses. After completion of my masters degree I moved home to NJ and took a teaching job in New York City at a school for children with behavioral needs. While working at this school I was a teacher in the Elementary school setting for the 2019-2020 academic year teaching math, science, history and ELA for a variety of academic levels (1st-5th grade). During the 2020-2021 school year I was promoted to the lead middle school teacher teaching all middle school aged core content areas.
