About Joshua

I am a 23 years' experienced teacher, primarily in English as a second language in Japan. I have additional experience as a general science, biology, and chemistry teacher in Alaska, as well as two years experience in Missouri. I am state certified 1st through 6th. My lessons are fun and engaging. I am trained for and have experience with SPED students (not certified). I have taught in 4 different countries. I grew up learning disabled, which actually means I learn differently than the, then, standard curriculum. Thus as an educational professional I have always strived to understand the best way my students can learn and adapt my lessons to their style. I am more than happy to provide professional references from fellow teachers on request.
