Hi! I am currently completing a Master of Social Work to become a mental health therapist and have a B. A. in Psychology. For the past 3 years, I have been nannying children ages 3 months old to 6 years old. I was previously a registered behavior therapist supporting kids with autism. I love working with kiddos and I am looking for any opportunities to help out! I am dependable, fun-loving, and adaptable. I have a unique background as I was originally studying bio-engineering at UC San Diego, so I have a strong background in science as well. English is my native language, German l speak fluently, and Spanish I speak well. I have had experience with all ages, ranging between 2 months old and 17 years old. Jodi is hands down one of the best nannies we have had. She watched our daughter starting at 4 months of age to her current age of 3 years old. She also watched our 5 year old, full time over the summers and part time during the week. Jodi understands kids, is able to communicate with them on their level while maintaining the level of respect for rules/guidelines we & her have set. My kids absolutely love and adore her and constantly ask when they get to see her next. She is able to identify their developmental needs and help them learn and grow mentally, emotionally and physically through each stage. She might help my 5 year old sound out words or keep the attention of the 3 year old to finish a puzzle. She drove our kids to beaches, parks, museums and we felt completely comfortable with her. (Which was a huge step of trust for me). She is kind, trustworthy, extremely responsible and an all around great person. Any family would be lucky to have her.
